Black History Month
Black History month is celebrated yearly at the Marshall White Center. In celebreation of black history month a beautiful program is put on by the Marshall White Center Black History Month Planning Commitee that involved the Ogden Weber Communitry Action Partnership(OWCAP) as well as other memebers of the local community. Martin Luther King Day Breakfast
Martin Luther King Day breakfast is hosted by Weber State University and other community partners. Following the breakfast is a March from the Marshall White Community Center to the Amphitheater on 25th and Washington. The breakfast is open to all wishing to attend and donations from the breakfast are collected and dispersed by the NAACP Ogden Chapter. Donations of breakfast items are greatly appreciated and are collected the first week in February at the Marshall White Center.
Easter Egg Hunt & Candy Dash
A children's easter egg hunt and candy dash are hosted each year at the Community Center. The local Ogden's Masonic Memebers also provide lunch to attendees free of charge. Candy and prizes are donated by local community memebers and agencies. The egg hunt is for children ages 0-12 years of age and is the Saturday before easter each year.
Cinco de Mayo Community Festival
The cinco de Mayo festival includes a variety of activities and attractions including; bounce houses, carnival games, face painting, live music, singing, dancing, local vendors and best of all... some of Utah's Best Latino Cuisine! Mark your calendars because this annual event is one that simply cannot be missed!
Kick-off to Summer Bash! Breakfast, Swimming and Concert
The kick-off to summer bash and concert are held at the Marshall White Center Swimming Pool. The concert and breakfast are put on by Ogden Friends of Acustic Music (OFOAM) in conjunction with the Marshall White Center. Free swimming is availiablbe throughout the day.
Halloween Magic Show
The Halloween Magic Show is held annually on the friday before halloween. It is free of charge and participants are encouraged to wear their costumes. Candy bags are given to all attendants ages 0-18 years.
Thanksgiving Gift of Love Dinner
The Gift of Love Dininer is hosted each Thanksgiving Day to less fortunate in the community. Volunteer efforts are coordinated by Project Success is conjunction with Weber State University and OWCAP.
Christmas Gift of Love Dinner
The Christmas Dinner is hosted at the Marshall White Center Annually, a few days before Christmas. The beautiful meal is free to all who wish to attend and a surprise visit from Santa and Mrs. Clause with gifts for the children is a true highlight of the event. In conjuction, there is a clothing and grocery give-away for those in need. Volunteer efforts for this event are also coordinated by Project Success.
